Why thank you--I'm glad you enjoyed.

Might I press you for a favorite character/scene?

Cheers

I am still in the process of reading. I read about 18 chapters yesterday and due to work and D&D I shall finish by the end of the week [I hope!]

Right now I have a very intense girl-crush on Twilight.

I was reading one part and my boyfriend was trying to get me to play Neverwinter Nights. Yeah, that didn't happen. I completely got sucked into the battle against the helmed horrors. So I guess that and the rope golem/death scene have been my favorite parts thus far.

I shall post more after I finish. Are there other books with Twilight I should look for?

I beat out NWN? Score!!! :D

No other novels, as yet, but Twilight initially debuted as a feature character in my contribution to the Realms of the Elves anthology.

That story isn't as dark as Depths of Madness, and has Twilight in a little more upbeat sort of role, but she's still her. :)

If you like Depths, you might consider checking out my first novel, Ghostwalker. While it lacks a sexy elf female lead, I am rather proud of the "High Plains Drifter meets the Crow in the Realms" sort of feel. :D

Cheers

I finished reading it Sunday morning. I really enjoyed the ending, but now I want to know more about Liet. The ending was very surprising, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. My favorite parts stayed the same as before. My favorite character by the end was Liet. I can't wait to read some more of your work. The only thing I didn't like was some of the creatures I had to look up because there wasn't enough description [although that was good since that means it didn't drag on when I knew what the creature was.] Other than that I had a lovely time reading this book.

Excellent! I'm very glad.

I left Liet (and many of the characters) a little open to interpretation, as to how they got to be the way they are. If you have any specific questions, I would be happy to (try to) answer!
